Available image for  Charles  ColemanCharles was a member of the British Army (BA) when killed. The brief circumstances of the death are as follows: Shot by sniper while on British Army (BA) mobile patrol, Tullymore Gardens, Andersonstown, Belfast.

His mother died last week. Charles was always in her thoughts and she never really recovered from the shock of losing her son. Charles was my cousin and I have fond memories. I know the details of his death from a historical enquiries report. Would love to hear from Lieutenant Smeeth or Bombardier Clater.

My dad served in the same regiment as you.I was 15 at the time.When news filtered through to the married quarters area that somebody in the regiment had died.Everybody was shocked at your untimely death at the same time we were all very proud of you.God bless you ,Tony Scarrott.
