Carl Hierons x Green Howards
I think I know Norman Duncan from the time I spent with the Green Howards in Londonderry 1988-1989 if he's the one I knew he was a good man and loved the work he did.
The job he was doing at the time of death was very important!! he was escort to a bus full of school children, the bus came under fire when all the children had left.
We only carried hand guns but he would have put up a good fight.
I did the same duty just before him, he took over my duty then I went on leave, while I was on leave I heard on the radio of what happened, I was angry and cried that night.
I was only 18 at the time but I will always remember.
